Brooklyn took a little trip to the ER while we were in Kanab.
She was standing on a small wooden swing and tried to sit. She lost her balance and smacked her head on the concrete.
At the hospital she was so brave! (with some help from her magic diamond)
She even smiled when the ER nurses came in to take her temp., her pulse ox, and then put some numbing gel in her wound.
30 min later they cleaned it and the doctor came in to staple it shut! She was a little scared of the doctor, he had no bedside manner, he even showed her the long needle he was going to use to make sure it was numb and told her to hold still or it could break off in her head! I'll let you imagine her excitement, but she held very still and survived!
You can tell why josh decided we better take her in. It bled a lot and when it stopped bleading we could tell how deep it was. It looks so much better closed! Much to my surprise she is doing so good, she hasn't told me it hurts once. I have said it before and I'll say it again "she is one tough cookie"

Cash Money
We went to Kanab over the weekend for little Cash's blessing, we had a great time! I am so grateful for the gospel and the comfort it gives me. What a wonderful thing it is to have the knowledge that I will have my entire family with me from now until eternity, I love them so much.

Playing at the lake
We went to Lake Mead on Saturday with some friends and had so much fun! It has been close to two years since Josh has been to the lake, and his skills on the wakeboard came right back! We had a ton of fun, and are trying to plan our next trip. (fingers crossed)
Brookie was in heaven all day. She got to go to the lake with two of her boyfriends!
The next day she informed us if she married Mason her name would be Brooklyn Michelle Domina, and if she married Hayden her name would be Brooklyn Michelle Villani! Josh doesn't like to think about Brooklyn growing up, and hearing her plan her future helps me remember to hold on to the present. She is one tough cookie in many ways.
The rangers had a floating ranger station in the cove next to our beach, so we decided to venture over to see what they had. It was quite the journey to get there.(it seemed so much closer) Once we were on the houseboat the kids were happy to be there. The rangers had snake skins, and hummingbird eggs, spiders, a big horned sheep skull, and frozen turtles! (they had caught a cold and passed away) You ask yourself where are the pictures of Brady, well he wasn't in the mood to have his picture taken all day long! All in all we had a great time!

Bubbles are fun!
I LOVE the dollar stores bubbles. They smell so good and are not really wet and soapy when they pop all over the kids. I was in there the other day and saw this cute wand so I bought one. BIG mistake I should have bought TWO! The kids shared for about 15 seconds and then decided it was more fun to fight. That ended the bubble fun for the day. Lesson Learned. For them: it was better to share the wand than not have it at all. For me: it was a buck buy TWO.
