Brooklyn Ballerina

We went to Brooklyn's Christmas recital on Saturday, she was the cutest little ballerina there. Thank you Grandpa for watching Brady, it really made the whole thing so enjoyable. 

Big Helpers

We pulled out all of our decorations this last week and Brady was such a big helper. He was taking a nap when Josh put up the tree, and when he saw it he got so excited! I am so thankful to have my sweet little babies. They are growing up WAY to fast.

A little of our Thanksgiving weekend...

It's official

Daddy passed the Nevada Bar, and has now officialy been sworn in as an attorney. Last week we got to go downtown and Judge Jones (who daddy works for) took us into his big court room and daddy took his oath of honor. We are so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. We love you :) Brookie and Brady

1. I HATE playing tag. Freeze tag, lazer tag, phone tag, blog tag! J/K

2. I LOVE Dairy products. Milk, butter, Cheese, milk, Icecream, Sourcream, milk, did I mention milk?

3. I make my bed first thing every morning. (sometimes while Josh is still sleeping) it really helps to make your room put all together!

4. I actually enjoy doing laundry. Being a stay at home mom is my job, I have two kids who like to take things out and not put them away, I can't control that (well right now it is just not worth the energy). Laundry is something I control, when it is all folded and put where it belongs I feel really good! What a sense of accomplishment!

5. I really dislike cleaning the bathroom, I could go for days without cleaning it. Really it is my least favorite chore. Any helpful tips?

6. I have the very best mother-in -law ever. She is so selfless and giving. She is always there to help whenever and whatever I need her for. She is always in a great mood. She has a positive outlook on life. She is so talented in so many ways. I am so blessed to have her in my life, Thankyou Kris for all that you have taught me and all that you do for me, I love you! Thank you for raising Josh with such strong values. He is my very best friend. I need to give her mom some credit, I know she was raised by a very kind a loving mother who is an inspiration to us all. Thank you Grannybird for all you do for us. I love you!

Hijacked Post!

The lure of Ikea being in Northern Utah has caused my wife to take the children and run. Leaving me home alone with nothing to do but count the seconds until they return. So, I have Hijacked her blog.

Josh and I were invited to an adult Halloween party this year, (it wasn't easy getting him to dress up) we had a lot of fun. Doesn't he make a great pirate?

Small Town Doctors

Brady had a fever on Wednesday I gave him Motrin and it went away, on Thursday he didn't have one so I thought it must have been his teeth. Friday morning my sister called and said her little boy had just been to their local quick care and had Bronchitis, well the kids had already been exposed to eachother just a few days earlier so we decided to still go and have fun. We left for my sisters friday afternoon and Brady was fine... about 30 minuets into the drive he coughed and it sounded like a seal. Josh said "lets turn around." half joking. Friday night he kinda had a fever but Saturday morning was another story he had small dark circles under his eyes and he was shaking every now and then. I was worried about his oxygen level but thought I would wait until we got back home to see a doctor. My sister said the doctor told her to come back if her little girl started to show signs so we took them in. Well the doctor was too busy to see them but decided it was the same and gave them an antibiotic for the infection. The nurse told us what to do. He seems to be doing better, but we decided to take Brady into his pediatrition today. He told us that children do not get Bronchitis, they can get Bronchialitis, but it is usually Pneumonia or RSV. The doctor told us Brady has Crupe, we are now giving him a steriod to prevent his larnix from swelling. This will help him get enough oxygen so he doesn't get worse. I feel really good we took him in to see his doctor today.

Thank goodness we made it home in one piece.

We visited my sister this weekend, and as you can see we did not relax...
Brady has Bronchitis.... we think!



Brookie got a burn from the 4- wheeler...

...then fell off of a swingset and got a black eye!



She is doing great.
She went for a ride on the 4- wheeler with her dad, when they got back she saw her grandpa and jumped off burning her leg on the engine. She didn't cry at all about the burn. I guess it didn't hurt. So then she went and played on the swingset 10 minuets later she had fallen from the top of a rope ladder, and hit her eye on one of the wooden rungs. It is looking a lot better tonight. I really hope it won't get any darker.

M is for Mouse

This whole week Brookie has been learning fun stuff about the letter M. Last night as Josh strapped her into her carseat she started repeating this little ryhme she learned.." M is for muffin, M is for mitten, M is for muddy paws on my kitten" it was really cute and she was really proud that she remembered it. Today she came home with this mouse mask she made and i just couldn't resist taking a picture of how silly she is. Hope you love it! :)

Brooklyn's first day!

Brooklyn was so excited to get back to preschool. She is now in the older class, that means three days a week for three hours a day.Hopefully she will be excited all year long.
